WHere is an easy version of a drink found on a new menu. This is a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded full of tastes associated with festive period, rendering it excellent for a holiday party. Save the extra citrus syrup to use in breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
For the Syrup: Place all the items in a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, take off the burner and leave to cool fully. Pour into a clean bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it will last for around a month.
To make Premix: Combine all the liquid ingredients into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your premix into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir carefully for one minute until cold. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
